Norfolk Virginia Caribfest

CaribFest is a celebration where the Caribbean Diaspora can preserve and share their heritage. It has wonderful traditions, some of which are 100 years old. CaribFest fosters an atmosphere of cultural diversity. There are two components of CaribFest:
The Street Exhibition (Parade)- A kaleidoscopic of color (fancy masquerade bands, floats, steelpan, etc.) Park/Stadium Events- Live performers (Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Latin, etc.) and all sorts of traditional Caribbean cuisine, drinks and colorful handmade arts & crafts and fashions
